My background includes working with individuals, families, and groups, particularly those dealing with grief, loss, anxiety, depression, OCD, and/or substance use disorders. I work through a compassionate, trauma-informed, and strength-based lens and I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), and Motivational Interviewing.
When I'm not reading books, watching movies, attending concerts, or going swimming (rarely all at the same time, mind you), you'll find me hanging out with my dog, family, and friends.
